Larry grew up in Onaway, MI.  He was saved and baptized as a sophomore in High School at Rogers City Baptist Church.  In 2005 he enlisted in the Navy as a SONAR Technician.  In 2006 while receiving technical training in San Diego, he met his future wife, Leah.  They were married in 2007 and they have two beautiful daughters.

In 2011 the Navy transferred he and his family to Oak Harbor Washington where they became members of Bible Baptist Church.  Shortly after, he began attending classes in the church’s Bible Training Institute, auditing the classes at first until being challenged by one of the Pastor’s to begin taking the classes for credit.  It was during the course on Homiletics that the Lord began burdening him to preach and enter the ministry.  He honorably separated from the Navy in 2015 and formally surrendered to preach in 2016.
