Mónica was born and raised in San Salvador, El Salvador, in a loving home and is the youngest of three children and the only daughter. She married her husband Carlos in December 2004 and moved to the United States in January 2005.  Monica grew up professing the Catholic religion and realized her need of a Saviour when she was 17 years old. After God had reached out to her many times through several testimonies of Christian friends, by God's Grace she was saved (Ephesians 2:8 — “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God”) and began growing in her relationship with her Lord and Saviour.  In 2013, God blessed her and her husband with their son, Daniel, who was born in Oak Harbor, WA, where they were members of Bible Baptist Church. Her husband's military career moved them to San Diego, CA in 2016 then back to Oak Harbor in 2019, where they immediately rejoined the Church.  She has served as the Church’s office and financial secretary since January 1st, 2020. She is incredibly grateful that God has allowed her to serve in this ministry.

Mónica nació y creció en San Salvador, El Salvador en una familia amorosa; es la menor de tres hijos y la única hija. Se casó con su esposo, Carlos en Diciembre 2004 y se mudó a los Estados Unidos en Enero del 2005. Mónica creció profesando la religión Católica y se dió cuenta de su necesidad del Salvador a los 17 años,  después de que Dios la había buscado muchas veces por medio de los testimonios de diferentes amigos Cristianos,  fue salva por la Gracia de Dios (Ef 2:8 Porque por gracia sois salvos por medio de la fe; y esto no de vosotros, pues es don de Dios) y entonces comenzó a crecer en su relación con su Dios y Salvador. En el 2013 Dios bendijó a Mónica y su esposo Carlos con su hijo, Daniel; quien nació en Oak Harbor, Wa.  La carrera militar de su esposo los llevó a mudarse a San Diego, CA en el 2016 y de regreso a Oak Harbor en el 2019, a donde inmediatamente se volvieron a hacer miembros de BBC. Mónica ha servido  como la Secretaria de la iglesia, desde el 1o de Enero del 2020. Ella esta muy agradecida de que Dios le permita servir en este Ministerio.
