Matt Burmester joined the staff of Bible Baptist Church on September 1, 2020 to serve as the Principal of the church’s Christian School Ministry after twenty years of service in the US Navy.  Matt enlisted in the Navy as a machinist mate in 2000 before attending college starting in 2005.  He received a commission in 2008 and spent the following twelve years serving in the Submarine Force.  In 2005, while in college in Albuquerque, NM, his life was forever changed when he was gloriously saved.  He and his wife Nicole have three children.  Having previously been members of Bible Baptist Church during his Naval service from 2010 to 2012, the Burmesters rejoined the church in August 2020.  Matt can be reached by email at matthew.burmester@whidbey.net or by phone in the school at (360)679-6497.
